Parking Tips for 2020 St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The City’s biggest parade of the year – the Annapolis St. Patrick’s Parade – will take place on Sunday, March 8 beginning at 1 p.m. starting at West Street at Amos Garrett Blvd. The parade includes more than 100 entrants and is expected to draw up to 15,000 people to Annapolis.

For complete parade details, visit The best choice is to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 550 Taylor Avenue. Naptown Events will sponsor shuttles from the stadium to the parade staging area (near Maryland Hall) for parade participants and to the downtown area for parade watchers.

Arrive early, as streets along the parade route will close before 1 p.m. and are expected to remain closed until the parade is finished, at approximately 3 p.m.

The parade begins near Park Place, with participants lining up along Amos Garrett Blvd. From there, the parade will travel down West Street to Church Circle, go around the circle to Main Street, continue down Main Street, and end at City Dock.
